Dear readers, contributors and fans,
after nine issues and four years of discoveries, experimentation, dedication and enjoyment, we are unfortunately unable to keep up with the printing side of our beloved publication. So, sadly, we are abandoning the printed matter, at least for the time being.
The good news though, is that while Issue Nine will be our last 'printed' edition, 20x20 will continue to exist as a specially curated online platform for art, writing and projects of all kinds.
And so, we do hope that you will keep following us in the virtual world!
For Issue Nine we're looking for contributions responding to the meta-words A SERIOUS GAME for our three sections:
Words – in the shape of fiction, essays, poetry
Visions – drawings, photography and visual projects
The Blender – where words and visions cross paths
Writers are invited to submit works up to 1,500 words. Please send up to 3 written pieces or poems in .doc files.
Visual artists are encouraged to submit images keeping the format of the page in mind (20x20 cm). Please send high resolution images (300 dpi), black & white only at present.
If you would like to submit a visual project consisting of a selection of images, send low res first (72 dpi).
E-mail your submissions to: submit@20x20magazine.com
DEADLINE: Friday 5 October 2012
We regret that we are unable to pay authors for their work, however each successful contributor will receive a complimentary copy of the magazine. Please note: due to large amount of submissions received, we are usually able to notify successful contributors only.
Looking forward to receiving your submissions!
